16 oz. Carbon Remover – Paint Decontaminator
Some baked-on brake dust doesn’t come off with soap and water, no matter how hard you scrub. That’s why we made Carbon Remover to safely dissolve it instead, so you don’t have to put in extra elbow grease or risk grinding the grit into your finish.
How It Works
Regular cleaners may require you to physically scrub contamination off, which is how swirls end up on wheels and paint.
Carbon Remover’s non-acid formula chemically breaks down carbon deposits, brake dust, and industrial fallout on contact, even turning purple as it works, so you can see contamination lifting instead of guessing when it’s done.
What You Get
• Safe, pH-balanced formula for wheels, exhaust tips, and painted surfaces
• Removes baked-on carbon, brake dust, and fallout without heavy scrubbing
• A visible color-change reaction that confirms it’s working
How To Apply A Brake Dust & Carbon Remover
1. Rinse the surface first to clear loose dirt and debris
2. Spray evenly over wheels, exhaust tips, or affected panels. If the contamination is severe, agitate Carbon Remover with a detailing brush or Microfiber Towel for better results.
3. Watch for the color change as it reacts with contamination
4. Rinse thoroughly before it dries on the surface
Prepping for a ceramic coating? Follow up with Panel Prep to fully strip the surface before application.
FAQ
Is it safe on all wheel finishes?
Generally yes. Carbon Remover is pH-balanced and a non-acid cleaner, which makes it safer than acid-based wheel cleaners on most factory finishes. Test a small area first on delicate or aftermarket finishes.
Why does Carbon Remover turn purple?
That’s the formula reacting with iron particles and contamination as it dissolves them. The purple color indicates that the formula is reacting with iron particles and contamination on the surface.
